Kirk D. Olson is a Senior Managing Director Investments with Marcus & Millichap and a trusted advisor to corporate, institutional, and private investors specializing in the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and net-leased retail properties throughout Florida. He is a Senior Director of the firm’s National Retail Group (NRG) and a member of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), representing the state of Florida.

Since joining Marcus & Millichap in 2005, Kirk has closed more than 375 retail investment transactions totaling in excess of $2 billion in sales volume, establishing himself as one of the firm’s most consistently high-performing retail investment specialists. His career progression reflects sustained excellence and leadership, with promotions to Associate Vice President Investments (2011), Vice President Investments (2012), First Vice President (2017), Senior Vice President (2018), and Senior Managing Director Investments (2024).

Kirk earned Rookie of the Year and Pace Setter Awards in his first year and has continued to rank among the firm’s elite producers. He is a Sales Achievement Award winner for 14 consecutive years (2010 – 2025) and consistently ranks as one of the Top Five Agents in the Miami Regional Office. Alongside his partner, Drew Kristol, Kirk has been recognized as the #1 Multi-Tenant Retail Agents Companywide for the State of Florida in five of the past six years.

His accomplishments also include being named a Daily Business Review Retail Deal of the Year finalist and earning multiple National Achievement Awards (2012- 2021) – one of Marcus & Millichap’s highest honors, recognizing exceptional production and impact at the national level.

Kirk speaks fluent Spanish and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota (1997) and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College (2002).
