Kirk D. Olson

Kirk D. Olson advises corporate, institutional, and private clients on the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and net-leased properties throughout Florida. He is also Senior Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group (NRG) and a member of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors Group (IPA), representing the state of Florida.
Since Kirk joined the Marcus & Millichap sales force in 2005 he has closed over 375 transactions in excess of $2 billion. He was promoted to Associate Vice President Investments in 2011, Vice President Investments in 2012, First Vice President in 2017, Senior Vice President in 2018 and Senior Managing Director Investments in 2024.
He earned the firm’s Rookie of the Year and Pace Setter Awards in 2006 and has been logging sales achievements since then. He is a seven-time winner of both the Sales Recognition Award and the Top 5 Agent in the Miami Regional Office. Kirk and his partner, Drew Kristol were ranked the #1 Multi-Tenant Retail Agents Companywide for the State of Florida in sales for five of the last six years. Amongst his achievements and awards, Kirk also earned the Daily Business Review Retail Deal of the Year finalist in 2011, and was a National Achievement Award Winner in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 & 2021.
Kirk speaks fluent Spanish and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Business and from Babson College in 2002 where he received his Masters of Business Administration.

Drew A. Kristol

Drew A. Kristol advises corporate, institutional, and private clients on the acquisition and disposition of shopping centers and net-leased properties within the state of Florida.
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Drew started his career in Manhattan as a commercial office/retail leasing agent with GVA Williams Real Estate. He then moved to Florida to obtain his law degree at University of Miami, specializing in Land Use/Zoning Law and Real Estate Transactions. Drew was admitted into the Florida Bar in September of 2004. He has closed over 375 transactions in excess of $2 billion since his start with Marcus & Millichap in the fall of 2005. He is also Senior Director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Retail Group (NRG) and a member of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors Group (IPA), representing the state of Florida. He was promoted to Vice Presient in 2012, First Vice President in 2017, Senior Vice President in 2018, and Senior Managing Director Investment in 2024.
Shortly after joining Marcus & Millichap, Drew received the Pace Setter Award in 2006 and since then he has earned several sales accolades including Top 5 Agent in Miami Regional Office award six times. Drew and his partner, Kirk Olson were ranked the #1 Multi-Tenant Retail Agents Companywide for the State of Florida in sales for five of the last six years. Drew was a Daily Business Review Retail Deal of the Year Finalist in 2011, a sales achievement award winner for 14 years in a row from 2010 through 2023, and a National Achievement Award Winner in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2021.
Drew received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Emory University in 1996. He later received his Juris Doctorate in 2004 from the University of Miami’s School of Law.

Monique Maldonado

Monique Maldonado specializes in the acquisition and disposition of Single Tenant and Multi-Tenant retail investments across Florida. She began her real estate career in New York City before transitioning to commercial investment sales with Marcus & Millichap in Los Angeles. With her finger on the pulse of multiple markets, Monique quickly earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to top-tier clients by recognizing what makes each city and asset unique. In her first year in the business, she successfully transacted more than $30 million, setting the foundation for her continued success.
Before entering real estate, Monique worked as an institutional sales trader for leading NYC hedge funds, mutual funds, and investment banks. She has a keen understanding of market fundamentals, the effect(s) on the real estate market, and what drives price and terms. Her strong finance background has given her much support in navigating the sale process as she maximizes client exposure while leveraging investor relationships. Throughout her career, she understood the value in taking a hands-on consultative approach to her clients’ investment needs.
Monique is known for her advisory driven approach when meeting clients’ investment needs and believes effective representation requires trust, strategic guidance, and the ability to navigate challenges while maintaining strong emphasis on relationships. Her sharp instincts and in-depth product knowledge, combined with her personal presence, have been key drivers of her success. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from Binghamton University.
